February 7th, 2012. Things always tend to start happening fast whenever you get ready to leave for vacation. We are still in negotiations for the parcel on Liminga Road, but things are looking good. Tonight I wrote an offer on this 10 acre parcel near Mass City, and it looks like it will be accepted. I also had a great showing on this nice house overlooking the canal that I recently listed. So, it looks like I'll be doing a bit of real estate negotiating while on vacation, but I'll never complain about being busy with work. Real estate is commission only, so you don't have the luxury of picking and choosing when you work. At least I don't, anyhow. Also, I put out a bunch of deer feed today that was all courtesy of those of you that bought feed this year. The deer are looking healthy this winter, and much of it is because of you. Anyhow, tomorrow morning we are on our way to Cabo San Lucas! Hasta luego!

February 6th, 2012. The week is off to a great start! I wrote an offer on my listing in Sylvan Estates this morning, and we already have an accepted offer! Congrats to the buyers and sellers on that one. I also received an offer on this nice parcel on Liminga Road this afternoon, so hopefully we'll reach an agreement on that one as well. I'm still trying to get everything tied up before we leave on Wednesday. We have friends staying at our house while we're gone, so that will be nice to have some 'house sitters'. February 5th, 2012. I'm sure that many of you watched the Super Bowl this weekend, and probably had lots of snacks doing so. Congrats to the Giants who were the better team that day. I had a great time at the Big Buck Night in Dollar Bay on Saturday, scoring lots of trophy bucks, and hearing lots of stories. I have plenty of work to do the next couple days, as we are leaving on vacation on Wednesday. I actually plan to get another house deal together before I leave, we'll see what happens. February 3rd, 2012. We got the deal together on the great house down in Mt. Pleasant, so congrats to my cousin Marcus on his new pad. I've had a decent number of new buyer inquiries over the last couple days, so that is great. I received some more deer feed donations which is great news. I'm more motivated than ever to keep plowing through the snow to keep those deer fed all winter long. Thank you to Julie, Peggi, and Whitetails Unlimited, you are all very generous. Also, I'll be scoring bucks for Commemorative Bucks of Michigan at the 'Big Buck Night' in Dollar Bay tomorrow night, so come on out to Bethany Baptist Church and say 'hello'. Have a great weekend!

February 2nd, 2012. I spent the morning working on tax stuff, which is never fun. This afternoon I went down to feed the deer, and they seemed very excited to hear my truck as always. You should see plenty of deer action for quite a few days now. Tonight I wrote an offer on a house down in Mt. Pleasant. I'm representing my cousin as a buyer's agent on a great house down there, so hopefully everything works out for that. Have a great day!

February 1st, 2012. February is here! I had a good showing on this home in Sylvan Estates, and also did an agent tour of this house near Ripley. I'm planning to have both of these houses sold soon. Thank you to Kathryn, as well as James, who both purchased deer feed today. I'll be heading out to feed them tomorrow, and they will be eating well for a few weeks now, thanks to those of you that helped! Melissa and I are getting excited realizing that we will be leaving on vacation in a week. Other than visits down to the family farm, we haven't really traveled anywhere for a vacation since we got married four years ago. I hope your week is going well!
